GREAT NEWS! Yesterday, HB699 was voted out of Appropriations Committee. We anticipate the House will vote on final passage of HB699 next month. The prime sponsor will advise us on what date this will occur. Please keep in touch with your Representatives and ask them to support HB 699.


HB 699 Causer, Martin - (PN 1948) Amends the Human Services Code, in public assistance, further providing for reimbursement for certain medical assistance items and services by establishing payment for medical assistance capitation and fee-for service for ambulance transportation as (1) For basic life support, not less than $180; (2) For advanced life support, not less than $300; (3) for air ambulance transport, not less than $3,325.53; (4) notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, for ground mileage, not less than $2 for each loaded mile; and (5) notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, for air mileage, not less than $22.45 per mile.
