PA EMS Agency Grant Opportunity - APPLICATION NOW OPEN

Grant Application Period:  March 1, 2021 through May 15, 2021

Grant Award:  Grant funds will be awarded after July 1, 2021.

Grant Eligibility:  All PA EMS agencies currently licensed by the PA Department of Health.  Only one application per licensed EMS agency.

Grant Requirements:  Grant funds must be used for
a) equipment, including hardware and software, used in the provision of EMS services, or
b) supplies, including medications and PPE, used in the provision of EMS services.*

Awardees must complete eligible purchases and required paperwork** by December 31, 2021 or you will be required to return the award to the PA EMS Provider Foundation.  Amounts per licensed EMS agency shall be limited to a maximum of $250,000.  Some restrictions will apply.

Please ensure that your application is complete prior to submission.  There will not be an option to submit supplemental requests or additional applications.  Each application will be reviewed by the application review committee.  The Application Review Committee is an impartial group of individuals. They are not board members of either the PA EMS Provider Foundation or its partner organization, the Ambulance Association of PA.

Restrictions and guidelines for grant awards, if any, will be solely the purview of the Application Review Committee.

Grant awards may be full or partial pending the number of applications, any restrictions or guidelines imposed by the Application Review Committee and the amount of available funds.

All information related to agency ID, Federal EIN number, contact information, and banking/institutional information will remain confidential.

*Due to the hardship experienced by many agencies during the pandemic, consideration will be given to retroactive grants for purchases made during calendar year 2020.
** A report is required showing, at a minimum, invoices documenting the ordering, receipt of and payment for equipment and/or supplies for which the grant was awarded.  A link to a reporting document will be provided to grant recipients.
