Annual conference each year with regional seminars on timely topics to help members run their service to its maximum efficiency. The Reimbursement Conference is targeted to the billing staff and billing companies to maximize members reimbursement. Regional seminars are targeted to the agency and topics can vary depending on the need of the EMS community. |

Issue Alerts or Membership Announcements

Email Communication on timely topics as they become available, public or when the AAP office is notified. A weekly compilation of news articles from PA newspapers highlighting the issues affecting EMS…from staffing shortages to news from the Governor or legislators. Members are made aware of important actions needed to move issues forward at the state and national level. Members are provided with talking points and letter templates to use. |
| Foundation | The PA EMS Provider Foundation |
The Foundation supports the welfare of PA emergency medical services providers. The Foundation hosts an annual fundraising event honoring past and present EMS heroes with the PA EMS Memorial Bike Ride ending at the Capitol with a Memorial Service and a dinner benefiting the Foundation’s grant program in the evening. Services from around the state may nominate outstanding individuals from their services to receive the “Stars of Life” award. The Foundation has awarded grants totaling almost $70,000 to EMTs to further their career and become paramedics. Partnership with Highmark, Inc. to provide $10 millions in grants to EMS Agencies during the 2021 year. |
