15th Annual STARS OF LIFE AWARDS Banquet

The Pennsylvania EMS Provider Foundation will host the 15th Annual Stars of Life Awards Banquet on Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Harrisburg, PA.

STARS of LIFE RECOGNITION:

Do you have an outstanding staff member?  Has a member of your EMS agency

• gone above and beyond,
• set an example for others to follow,
• exemplified EMS in the community, 
• served honorable for decades,
• cared for a patient in a heroic or life-saving way?

This event is a great opportunity to recognize your provider in front of their peers from across the Commonwealth in a simple, yet grand setting.  The Stars of Life Award is a coveted symbol of gratitude presented to an EMS provider from an EMS provider - most likely by their agency Chief or Director.

Room rate is $129.95 (plus taxes and includes breakfast Monday morning). Reservations can be made by calling 717-561-2800 and identifying yourself as part of the Ambulance Association of Pennsylvania event. Deadline for reservations is August 15, 2022, however, the hotel may honor the $129.95 room rate as long as rooms are available.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:

Jim Green, DC, FP-C, NREMT

Jim Green has worked in healthcare for 25 years as a clinician, an educator and an EMS provider. Currently the Director of EMS Education at Harrisburg Area Community College, Jim teaches and leads exactly as he practices - with a passion to help others. He entered health care as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1997 and following the events of September 11th, transitioned to a career in Emergency Medical Services, at first a volunteer to his community, eventually advancing to work as a Paramedic, EMS Agency Coordinator, Senior Flight Paramedic, and eventually Director of Education for HACC and a Critical Care Instructor with IA MED, an international EMS education platform for providers of all levels. Jim is also the founder and Director of Mission Ready, a program that is dedicated to the professional development of first responders and promoting excellence and fulfillment in the field. 

DINNER RESERVATIONS:

You must pre-register for this event. Deadline for reservations is August 31, 2022. Due to the nature of the event, we will not be able to accept walk-ins. Seating will be assigned and your tickets will be available at the door. If you would like to be seated with providers from your area, please indicate the company name on the registration form. Your reservation will include tickets to the event (a cash bar will be available all evening).

Cancellations made prior to August 31, 2022 will be subject to a $25.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations after August 31, 2022.
